Hex Blox
Hex Blox are designed for children of all ages. For younger children, the blocks can be constructed in simple stacks. Older children can experiment with using the connectors to add dimension and create more complex designs.
The Process
The 3d printed prototypes are individual hexagons connected with mounting putty to experiment with different formations.
The final blocks are made from pine and finished with boiled linseed oil.
The manufacturing process (illustrated below) was designed to maximize time and material efficiency
